The project is located in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, Vallés Oriental. It is an isolated single-family home for Paula and Ferran.
The client proposes as the main requirement to be able to have the functional program of the day area located on the ground floor, as open-plan as possible and as closely related to the outdoor garden, and the program of the night area on the upper floor.
As it has little slope, the plot allows a large part of its surface to be located on the same level, thus facilitating the relationship of the house with its surroundings.
On a volumetric level, rationality and order are sought from the beginning in the composition of its facades, together with the maximum opening to allow the maximum possible entry of light through its windows.
A highlight of the project, the main façade, facing south and onto which the exterior space of the main garden is projected, is stretched with a portico system that allows shade to be provided and activity to be concentrated on this space.
